Resistance

The years have shown that considering several decisive criteria (resistance, optical effect, earning power, suitability for repair) the natural material wood is most suitablefor felt-golf courses. To get a long term weather resistance the wood is handled with high pressure impregnation.

Degree of difficulty

In the first place, the degree of difficulty of the felt-golf courses depends on the type of lanes chosen. The types of lanes vary in length, width and selection of obstacles. In order to make felt-golf interesting to the same extent for both occasional and more ambitious players and realize this on one course, our felt-golf courses are equipped with adjustable obstacles. Therefore every player or group of players is able to decide himself by a simple manipulation, whether the individual obstacle should be more difficult or easier to play. This possibility, furthermore, creates an ideal precondition for families with bag and baggage to play the course.

Maintenance

All materials used in the construction of FUN-SPORTS felt-golf courses are especially weather resistant. It is not necessary to cover the lanes during the winter months.
Compared with the usual course systems there is a remarkable advantage due to the lateral water outlets and the special ventilation underneath the construction: The courses do not have to be freed from water after rainfalls, but they will be drying all alone very quickly. Only removing dead leaves, for example, remains inevitable as it is the case with other course systems too in order to present the course in an inviting condition.

Worth mentioning here are from our own production the plastic-coated, coloured clubs for public, as well as the balls for public with differing features that can be co-ordinated with your course as single balls or as a set.
On request, FUN-SPORTS will arrange for the operator the acceptance of the felt-golf course by the competent sport association as an approved course. This can be used by the operator as an additional sign of quality for his PR measures.
